Her gaze shifted. She saw a battered Imperial Planet Ship fleet fleeing into the Dimension Fortress's control range. Behind it, an immense Stellar Titan Ship slowly cut through space-time, sending a wave surging after them.
The calmly operating Dimension Fortress detected the threat and immediately began charging. Its dense barrage of Fortress Cannons crossed a distance of nearly ten thousand light-years and struck the Stellar Titan Ship's Warp Bubble.
The Warp Bubble, constructed from the star's gravity, was soon shattered by the concentrated Star Destroyer Cannon bombardment, its gravitational structure collapsing. A vast surge of space-time erupted, hurling the enormous warship out of High-Dimensional Space-Time and into the three-dimensional world.
The gravitational tides scoured part of the ship's outer hull, but for this colossal vessel, that was a negligible loss. The real threat was that from this moment on, it could only travel through deep space at sublight speeds. It was practically as good as being pinned in place in this region of deep space!
Sure enough, just half a month later, a patrol team of three Shell Beasts swiftly descended upon it. The Stellar Titan Ship, which had not even managed to deploy its Star Shield, became a stockpile of food for the Shell Beasts. After they had breached its outer hull, the Imperial Army quickly moved in to launch a final assault on the remaining enemy forces.
A new steel tomb had appeared in deep space, and the Dimension Fortress had claimed a new victory.
In terms of firepower alone, the Dimension Fortress was no match for a Stellar Titan Ship. They were in completely different leagues. But with its vastly superior detection range and firing range, the fortress had managed to "pin" the Stellar Titan Ship in deep space.
This was another purpose of the Dimension Fortress:
