The fleet did not stop. Under Liu Yun's command, it continued toward the Fire Dragon Lair at the center of the star system, while she slipped into the lair.

The so-called lair was actually an asteroid hollowed out by the Fire Dragons. Inside were mountains of ore and the frozen corpses of aliens.

These were the Fire Dragons' spoils from the Dark Galaxy. Adult Fire Dragons could survive on inorganic matter alone, but young dragons needed organic matter to grow. This was what the food had been prepared for.

The little monsters had wings and flew by manipulating magnetic fields. They were only about the size of dogs. Perhaps because they lacked the life force of a planet, they grew far more slowly than their counterparts in the Fire Dragon Lair.

Though small, the young dragons had a measure of Combat Power. Their Plasma Breath could melt rock with ease. It was both a means of self-defense and attack, and a necessary ability for consuming minerals.

They gorged themselves on rocks and frozen flesh, occasionally leaving a scorching mark on the cavern walls with a blast of breath.

"Roar!"

The young dragons soon sensed Liu Yun's presence. As if they had spotted a delicious feast, they pounced without hesitation.

"Bloodthirsty monsters," she said in displeasure.

The sensitivity of a Life Sage let her clearly sense the minds of the young dragons. Apart from instincts such as feeding, all that remained was pure destruction.

At a thought, green vines appeared and coiled around hundreds of young dragons in the lair. With the slightest exertion, she tore the little monsters apart, leaving their remains scattered everywhere.

The battle ended in an instant. Liu Yun turned her attention to what she had come for: the dragon eggs.
