The four Ninth Rank Star Lords, together with Immortal Lord Tianhao who sat at the center and operated the Celestial Star Array Diagram, relied on the raised Houtian Spiritual Treasure to either block or suppress the incoming Ninth Rank Sovereigns, Ninth Rank Spirit Lords, and Ninth Rank Heavenly Demons.
For a time, the Star Alliance gained a massive upper hand. The quantity and ranks of enemies executed in a short span of time even surpassed the harvest of the past hundred years of warfare.
If such execution and consumption could continue, it might even damage the foundations of the armies of the God Realm and Spirit Realm, drastically weakening their strength, and thereby block all enemies entirely outside the border of the Star Alliance, preventing them from invading its interior.
