The Taihao Star Palace held the center, operating and regulating the entire Celestial Star Array Diagram. The Taishang Star Palace was responsible for communicating with the outside world; it was the Star Alliance's last life-saving trump card and could not be moved lightly. The Gui Xu Star Palace, meanwhile, was tasked with monitoring the Central Black Hole and the dark side of the star sea universe, to prevent further upheaval. It, too, could not be moved lightly.
Of the Star Alliance's nine great star palaces, only these three remained in place. The other six had all been relocated to the borderlands, where they joined the battles against the armies of the God Realm and Spirit Realm, the demonic forces, and the Void Demon Race. The Alliance had brought out every last reserve and means at its disposal.
Yet even with all their strength unleashed, they still struggled to hold back the unending waves of enemies, who charged forward ready to perish alongside them: the armies of the God Realm and Spirit Realm, the demonic forces, and the Void Demon Race.
At the border, the Star Alliance's remaining Artificial Star Domain defenses were being reorganized. Su Hong Star Lord, Hun Tian Star Lord, and the others gathered the surviving Artificial Star Domains together, combining those that had been destroyed or badly damaged into new formations.
Of the original twenty-four Artificial Star Domains, only ten remained intact after the reorganization.
In other words, more than half of the twenty-four Artificial Star Domains had been destroyed outright. That alone showed how brutal the earlier battles had been at the Star Alliance's borders, where Liang Ji and the others had tried to repel the advancing armies of the God Realm and Spirit Realm, the demonic forces, the Void Demon Race, and their other enemies.
