For the "God Realm" and the "Spirit Realm" to summon power from the Upper Realm, setting aside the other costs for now, they first had to sacrifice an "Elf Sovereign" and a "Spirit Lord Jianmu."
Only by offering up one Sovereign and one Spirit Lord could the "Tree of Life" in the "God Realm" and the "Jianmu" in the "Spirit Realm" each grow and connect to the Upper Realm, summoning down the Upper Realm's "divine power" and "Elemental Power"!
That alone showed how great the sacrifice was!
No wonder the "God Realm" and the "Spirit Realm" would rather merge into one and become a "Spirit God Realm" to resist the Star Alliance than use summoning power from the Upper Realm as their trump card!
After all, unless they were at death's door, the "Elf Sovereign" and the "Spirit Lord Jianmu" likely wouldn't willingly go to their deaths, offering themselves up to summon power from the Upper Realm!
Only now, with the "God Realm" and the "Spirit Realm" already merged into the "Spirit God Realm," yet still unable to withstand the Star Alliance's all-out assault, had things reached this point.
With their very survival at stake, the "Elf Sovereign" and the "Spirit Lord Jianmu" had no choice but to sacrifice themselves, offering their own lives to summon power from the Upper Realm in hopes of turning the tide and protecting the "Spirit God Realm."
But the sacrifice of the "Elf Sovereign" and the "Spirit Lord Jianmu" had indeed produced remarkable results.
The "God Gate" and the "Elemental Gate" opened atop the "Tree of Life" and the "Jianmu," respectively. Vast divine light and Elemental Light poured through these two gateways, instantly spreading and enveloping the entire "Elf Star Domain" and "Jianmu Star Domain." They even expanded rapidly beyond those two star domains,
