The void stretched boundlessly, and the star sea was infinite. Just how vast the Outer Domain Star Sea was, even many high-ranking Star Lords in the Star Alliance might not know.

Because of this, exploration teams from the Star Alliance ventured through the Outer Domain in search of resources, Life Stars, and other opportunities. Their expeditions were often solitary journeys. In ten trips, they might not encounter another Star Alliance team even once, and they rarely received distress signals from other teams in the Outer Domain Star Sea.

Liang Ji and his crew aboard the Dragon Snake had already made several expeditions into the Outer Domain. So far, the only other starship they had encountered was one that had crashed long ago near the Starlight Forest. They had never met another Star Alliance exploration team, nor even found a trace of one.

Yet, on this trip, they were merely taking a different route back to the Star Alliance. They had no intention of exploring or seeking opportunities, but the Dragon Snake had unexpectedly received a battlefield distress signal sent by a Star Alliance cultivator team.

This was a special kind of signal. It meant that a team of Star Gate cultivators nearby had run into a powerful enemy and fallen into a disadvantage on the battlefield, perhaps even into a desperate situation. Unable to deal with the enemy, they had sent out a battlefield distress signal into the surrounding void star sea.

This was different from the distress signal they had received near the Starlight Forest.

According to the Star Alliance's many laws and regulations for the Expansion Army and exploration teams, neither the Expansion Army nor Outer Domain exploration teams could ignore such a battlefield distress signal once they received one in the Outer Domain Star Sea. They had
