Background
The Star Lord path is the Star Alliance's Heavenly Immortal cultivation orthodoxy. Humans on its main stars receive one free opportunity at age eighteen to use the Celestial Star Array Diagram to seek and refine a Natal Star. Successful candidates become Star Lords, though awakening alone does not confer a cultivation rank 1.
The Taihao Star Palace used the Celestial Star Array Diagram to control the first Star Domain. The Star Alliance subsequently formed through expansion and the integration of other Star Domains' inheritances; Taihao Star Palace Star Lords maintain and operate the Diagram 886.
Cultivation
- Natal Star and Dao Fruit: Star Power is the star's Origin force, encompassing its matter, life, spirit veins, and other aspects. Star Lords cultivate that power toward a Dao Fruit while developing their Natal Stars and retainers 7.
- Retainers: Nurturing intelligent life strengthens a Natal Star's Origin and provides forces for combat. Retainers generally need cultivation inheritances and guidance from their Star Lord to develop their abilities and civilization 7.
- Demon Cores: Advancement through the first seven tiers requires refining Void Demon Race Demon Cores to perfect the Natal Star's Spirit Veins. The stated requirements fall to ten Eighth-Rank cores for Eighth-Tier advancement and one Ninth-Rank core for Ninth-Tier advancement 1307.
- Cultivation and conquest: Star Lords improve their stars and retainers, then use those forces to obtain resources through exploration and conflict. The resources, in turn, support further development 146.
Abilities & Skills
Natal Star projections and Star Techniques
- Star Lords can project starlight figures to distant battlefields. Mid-tier Star Lords can do so using their own power; high-tier Star Lords can manifest numerous noncombat projections for reconnaissance 481 1171.
- From Fourth Tier onward, a stronger Natal Star connection allows cultivation of Star Techniques. Star Plucking Hand can be powered by the Star Lord or amplified by borrowing power from the Celestial Star Array Diagram 488 501.
- A Star Lord's Natal Star is a critical vulnerability: its destruction can endanger or kill its owner 508 1488.
Retainer forces
- Star Lords dispatch retainers through starlight portals or Star Gates. Beyond the Star Alliance's territory, mid-tier Star Lords must open portals with their own power and equipment rather than rely on the Celestial Star Array Diagram 491.
- As tiers rise, retainers can build increasingly powerful vessels. At higher ranks, Starships and Star Ports become more important to their battlefield role 572 1401 1651.
High-rank powers
- High-tier Star Lords draw on the Great Dao and laws of their Natal Stars to control or distort stars and the void; they personally intervene when an enemy requires more Origin and law power than their forces can supply 629.
- Ninth-Rank Star Lords wield transcendence power, which can diminish lower-ranked attacks and strengthen their own. They can also apply their established Dao path beyond their Natal Star Systems 1534.
