That was how you completed your assessment and proved to Kunlun Star Palace that you had the strength to slay the enemies of the palace and the Star Alliance.

Senior Sister Bian Yujiao's assessment, for instance, had taken place on the Void Sea battlefield, where the Star Alliance and the Divine Realm faced off.

In fact, more than eighty percent of all graduation assessments applied for by Kunlun Star Palace students took place on the Void Sea. They joined the war between the Star Alliance and the Divine Realm, slaughtered enough gods, and seized enough divine crystals to pass.

Even for the few students whose assessments took place somewhere other than the Void Sea, the central purpose remained the same: slaughter the gods of the Divine Realm and seize their divine crystals.

Liang Ji's assessment was one of that minority. It wouldn't take place on the Void Sea, but in a stretch of the void not far from the Star Alliance's Pioneer War front in the Heavenly Demon Star Domain.

The task itself, however, was the same: clash with the gods of the Divine Realm, fight them, slay them, and seize their divine crystals.
