Formation and Early Development

A Natal Star begins as a dead star refined by an aspiring Star Lord through the Celestial Star Array Diagram. Star Alliance citizens receive one free attempt at age eighteen; success establishes the Star Lord’s connection to the star and begins their Heavenly Immortal cultivation path 1.

Newly refined Natal Stars are barren, lacking atmosphere, water, and life. The Celestial Star Array Diagram manifests an external sun, moon, stars, and a life-sustaining void environment around them, allowing dead stars to develop into Life Stars and Spirit Vein Stars 2 459 525.

Time Acceleration

The Celestial Star Array Diagram can accelerate a Natal Star’s internal time flow, though its influence declines sharply as the Star rises in tier 3.

A Natal Star is the source of a Star Lord’s Star Power, Origin, Great Dao laws, and Dao Fruit. As long as the Natal Star remains intact, a depleted Star Lord can rapidly replenish their power through its continuous support 576.

• Retainers strengthen the Natal Star’s Origin, Great Dao, and Dao Fruit through their existence, intelligence, extraordinary abilities, and advancement 7.
• A stronger Natal Star directly raises the Star Lord’s available power, Origin, and control over laws 1349.
• A Star Lord’s physical body, True Qi, and soul leave imprints in the Natal Star’s Origin; with the Starry Sky Undying technique, these imprints can be gathered for rebirth even after death and soul annihilation 473.

Demon Core Refinement

Natal Stars grow by refining Void Demon Race Demon Cores, which are absorbed into their Spirit Veins and converted into Star Origin, Spirit Vein strength, and higher rank 761 1319.

• Retainer deities can regulate laws, order, and Origin to assist refinement 721.

Natal Star Projection

High-tier Star Lords can project a phantom of their Natal Star into battle. The projection fights with the Natal Star’s Origin and Great Dao laws, making it stronger than a Star Lord’s Law Body 630.

• The projection can extend the Natal Star’s starlight, force field, and Dao rhythm over an area 826.
• Liang Ji learned the technique early at the Fifth-Tier stage through the combined support of his Dragon Person Star Spirit and the Deification List 826.
• A more advanced Star Chart Projection projects the real celestial bodies of a completed Natal Star System and its Star Chart Great Formation; it normally requires at least perfected Seventh-Tier cultivation or an Eighth-Tier Star 630.

Dao Integration

When a Natal Star reaches the Eighth Tier, its Origin becomes powerful enough to draw its Star Lord into it for Dao Merging. The Star Lord and Natal Star are already fundamentally intertwined: “he was the Natal Star, and the Natal Star was him” 1319.

• The Dao Merging process is a life-or-death tribulation in which the Star Lord risks being assimilated by the Natal Star’s Origin and Great Dao laws 1320.

A Natal Star’s Origin must remain proportional to the strength of its Spirit Veins. If its Dao Fruit and Origin fall beneath the required threshold, the Natal Star suffers backlash 702.

Protection and Concealment

Before a system is refined, the Celestial Star Array Diagram conceals, isolates, and protects a Natal Star from hostile forces. Only its owner may open this protection; even other Ninth-Rank Star Lords cannot enter without permission 1248.

• The protection prevents enemies from locating and directly destroying an immature Natal Star 1248.
• If the Star Lord dies, the Celestial Star Array Diagram automatically opens the protection; the Star Alliance may then take over the star, though it will usually decay back into a dead star 1248.

Nine Suns Star System

Liang Ji’s Natal Star is located on the frontier of the Manggu Star Domain and is protected by the Nine Suns Star System 1255.

• The system contains nine Stars with different attributes, creating suitable conditions for distinct life forms, resources, mineral veins, and Retainer territories 1253.
