Background / History
The Cultivator Faction arose from lifeforms that developed within unoccupied Source Worlds. After Yuan became an Origin Lord, he protected these worlds and cultivated their inhabitants; this protection enabled the earliest cultivator civilization to take shape. Source Worlds remain the faction’s foundation because they sustain its population and produce future experts. 1031
On the Origin Continent, cultivators from the three thousand dimensional universes and their descendants seized most native territory over long ages. Their expansion drove native lifeforms into desolate, dangerous regions and created the enduring conflict with the Native Camp. 509
The faction eventually held roughly ninety percent of the Origin Continent through the Cultivator Alliance, but the alliance’s weak cohesion left its members vulnerable to internal disputes once the Native Camp was defeated. 501 731
Organization
Origin Lords
The Cultivator Faction is led by seven Origin Lords, with Yuan recognized as its strongest expert and leader. Unlike ordinary Source Progenitors, Origin Lords of the faction are indestructible and immortal after reaching their realm. 956 964
- Yuan — strongest Origin Lord; protected the Source Worlds from which the faction emerged and directs major campaigns. 1031 1231
- Jin — Origin Lord born from the Destruction Demon Race. 956
- Wu — Origin Lord who supports the faction’s cultivation and military initiatives. 956
- Every Cultivator Faction Origin Lord has grasped the Essence of Dao, giving them combat power beyond most Origin Lords of other factions. 1141
- The Origin Lords are master artifact refiners capable of forging Lord-level Source Secret Treasures. 1090
Source Experts and Armies
- The faction’s top ranks include God Emperors, High Source Beings, World-class Source Experts, Perfect World-class experts, and Origin Lords. 1111 1146
- Four of the ten highest-ranked Perfect World-class experts on the Lord Seed List belong to the faction. 1146
- Yuan maintains a trained God Emperor Army of more than one million Early God Emperors. Its soldiers wear uniform Supreme Treasure armor, wield uniform Supreme Treasure weapons, and practice a Combined Attack Secret Technique. 1111
- The faction had accumulated more than 1,300 Source Experts over endless years, though more than 1,300 were lost during the first ten years of the Two Faction War. 1123
Society and Internal Politics
The Cultivator Faction is not fully unified. Its experts originate from different Source Worlds and dimensional universes, with deep conflicts among major forces and strong individual self-interest. 501 692 1196
The Cultivator Alliance serves as the faction’s nominal coordinating body on the Origin Continent. It was created to organize resistance against the Native Camp, operates branches in many Holy Cities and God King Cities, and can issue Bounty Missions or oversee matters such as City Seizing Wars. 501 692
However, the Alliance cannot fully command major God King forces. It is a loose organization whose branches may have to follow the orders of local God Kings. 692
- The Alliance has five honorary alliance leaders and three Deputy Alliance Leaders, all solitary God Kings with peak God King strength. 692
- King Qin is one of the Alliance’s leading figures and presides over major faction affairs. 692 712
- Individual faction members may conceal major opportunities from one another, as Star Tide Emperor Lord initially attempted to monopolize information about the Spiritless God’s Legacy. 1196 1198
Resources and Practices
Source Worlds
Source Worlds are the faction’s most important strategic resource.
- They allow cultivator lifeforms to reproduce, nurture descendants, and create future experts. 1011 1031
- Cultivator Faction experts generally protect and cultivate Source Worlds because they themselves were born from them. This gives their territory a higher density of Source Worlds than those controlled by the Innate Source Being Faction or several Strange Lifeform Factions. 1219
- After winning the Lord Game, the faction received eighteen Medium Source Worlds from its defeated rivals. 1026 1031
- Source Worlds can also be devoured for Origin Power, but doing so sacrifices the lifeforms and long-term potential within them. 1031
Artifact Refining
Artifact refining is a major advantage of the faction.
- All Origin Lords can forge Lord-level Source Secret Treasures, allowing the faction’s Source Experts to possess more such treasures than rival factions. 1090
- The faction’s God Emperor Army is equipped with standardized Supreme Treasure armor and weapons. 1111
- Resources obtained in war may be reserved for nurturing later generations, including experts below the World-class Source Expert realm. 1243
Cultivation
Cultivators advance through varied Dao-based paths rather than bloodline awakenings. Their growth from weakness gives them a comparative advantage in Dao Enlightenment over Innate Source Beings and many Strange Lifeforms. 937 1141
