Blue Star in Crisis

In the days that followed, Obsidian City went into overdrive. Though Su Qingyin was still injured, she threw herself into work at once, discussing the division of responsibilities with Huyan Lie and Shi Gandang. She gathered representatives from the cities and sects across the Western Domain, announced the new policies, and calmed the people. With Lin Hao holding the city, no one dared challenge the Sword Emperor's authority. The reforms met some resistance, but overall, things proceeded steadily.

Meanwhile, the proposal to build a super-large Teleportation Array connecting the Five Domains—and even reaching Blue Star—was officially put on the agenda. Lin Hao, Xuanyu, the Void Walker, Bai Li Jing Hong, Nangong Liuli, Beiming Xue, Ye Guichen, and the newly appointed Su Qingyin gathered together.

They chose the top floor of the Demon Suppressing Department, on a terrace overlooking the entire city. Beside the enormous sand table of the Western Domain now floated a star map that covered all Five Domains and marked Blue Star's relative position.

"Materials are the first problem." Bai Li Jing Hong pointed to several glowing routes on the star map. "To build a passage stable enough for an army to cross, and capable of resisting Space Turbulence and demonic energy to some degree, we'll need vast quantities of Void Crystal, Boundary Stone, and Star Sand, along with at least nine stable spatial nodes to serve as anchors. On the Sacred Martial Continent, these materials are concentrated in a handful of ancient ruins and perilous places. They're difficult to mine, and most are guarded by powerful Fierce Beasts or natural formations."
