Standing atop Hokage Rock, Natsu Yuu stared blankly at the [Konoha] being built below.
There was no doubt about it: he really had traveled to another world!
And not just an ordinary Naruto world. This was a space-time matrix made up of seven parallel Naruto worlds.
Each world was just like a normal timeline, except that they were all at different points in time.
The system's main quest was: [Choose a faction in each timeline and help it unify the Ninja World, then ensure it does not divide again within twenty years of unification.]
After completing the main quest, the host would be able to [ascend to immortality on the spot and live forever].
The good news: he had a system, and the rewards looked generous.
The bad news: the system's main quest was no easy feat.
This was the Naruto world, after all!
A high-level world where people casually used Planetary Devastation and carpet-bombed the surface with Tailed Beast Bombs!

And he had to choose a faction to carry out the unification, then keep the world united for twenty years!
To make matters worse, there were seven whole Naruto worlds.
Even though Natsu Yuu knew the entire history of Naruto, this was still a plus-max level of difficulty.
Fortunately, the system offered some assistance:
First: he could travel to any timeline he chose, with ten trips per day and no limit on how long he could stay.
Second: after binding himself to a faction, he would receive a Beginner's Gift Pack.
Third: after unifying a world, he would receive a system reward and unlock a new system ability.
Natsu Yuu thought it over. With the system's help, perhaps he could give it a try after all.
The final reward was just too tempting. He had to give it his all for the chance to [ascend to immortality on the spot and live forever]!
"Let's see what's in the Beginner's Gift Pack first!"
On the system panel in his mind, Natsu Yuu chose to bind himself to the [Konoha Ninja Village] and claimed the Beginner's Gift Pack.
Why choose Konoha?
Obviously, to make things easier.
Though Natsu Yuu wasn't particularly fond of Konoha—or, more precisely, certain people in Konoha.
Looking across the history of the entire Ninja World, Konoha had always been one of the most powerful villages, no matter the era. It was the best choice for unifying the Ninja World.
And that was without even mentioning that it had produced two reincarnations each of Asura and Indra.
What chance did the other Ninja Villages and factions have against Konoha?
Natsu Yuu had no reason to turn down easy mode and choose hell mode instead. He wasn't a masochist. Completing the main quest was his top priority.

Overjoyed, Natsu Yuu hurriedly pulled out his phone and used it to check his eyes.
A pair of ripple-patterned [Rinnegan] had replaced his eyes. His dynamic vision had instantly increased dozens of times over; he could even clearly make out the compound eyes of flies flying in the distance.
It took Natsu Yuu quite a while to rein in and adjust to the terrifying dynamic vision his new eyes gave him.
Aside from that, Natsu Yuu discovered that he couldn't use any of the Rinnegan's other abilities.
He had no Chakra in his body and didn't know the Chakra Refining Method.
Even though he couldn't yet make use of the Rinnegan's power,
just having these eyes was enough to intimidate and persuade a lot of people.
Otherwise, approaching powerful shinobi like Hashirama Senju as an ordinary person would be extremely dangerous.
Good.
The system was pretty generous, and the Beginner's Gift Pack was great.
"Come on. Let's go meet this era's [God of Shinobi], Hashirama Senju."
Natsu Yuu rose to his feet and looked toward the [Hokage Building].
In theory,
this was the best time to unify the Ninja World.
The major Ninja Villages had only just been founded, and Konoha had nearly overwhelming strength.
Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha alone were enough to sweep through the entire Ninja World.
"Susanoo riding the Buddha, the two of them destroying four nations" wasn't just a joke.
But that was exactly why Hashirama and Madara were the hard part.
The stronger a person was, the more resolute their heart and will tended to be. Convincing the two of them to abandon their beliefs and change their path would be no easy task!
Not everyone was as easily persuaded by talk-no-jutsu as Nagato.
One wrong move, and if the negotiations fell apart, he might end up facing Susanoo and the Buddha alone.

Just as Hashirama Senju stepped out of the Hokage Building after work, beaming with excitement, Tobirama Senju's shout rang out from inside:
"Elder Brother, where are you going?"
"Uh..."
"Don't tell me you're going gambling again? Don't forget who you are now. You've got all this official business waiting for you!"
"No, no..."
"Then are you going to see that Madara fellow?"
"Tobirama, how did you know?"
"Hmph! You're only this excited when you're going to see him!" Tobirama folded his arms and snorted in disapproval.
"Hahaha, Madara asked me to meet him at the Naka Shrine of the Uchiha Clan. He probably has something important to discuss." Hashirama scratched his head and chuckled sheepishly.
"The Naka Shrine? That Madara fellow's been getting more and more reclusive lately. Who knows what he's plotting now? Elder Brother, be careful! Don't let him fool you again!"
Tobirama knew there was no way he could stop his elder brother from going to see his old flame, so he could only keep on grumbling.
At least his elder brother had become the First Hokage. Madara shouldn't be able to cause too much trouble.
"All right, all right!"
"I'm off. Tell Mito I won't be coming home tonight..."
Tobirama's face darkened. He was utterly speechless. "..."
Just as Hashirama turned around,
a figure suddenly appeared at the other end of the corridor!
It wasn't Flying Thunder God. This was even more concealed and abrupt! It had happened without warning or the slightest trace of Chakra.
Even Hashirama was taken aback.
The stranger had short hair and wore a white T-shirt, dressed in a style completely out of place in the Ninja World.
Most importantly, his eyes were deep and rippling, just like the [Rinnegan], said to be the greatest of all Dojutsu!
Hashirama's body tensed instantly, but he still asked in an easygoing manner, "Who are you?"
"First Hokage Hashirama Senju, would you have time for a chat?" Natsu Yuu asked.
He'd been right about Hashirama. He was immensely powerful, but remarkably restrained when it came to using force.
Otherwise, at the later Kage Summit, it wouldn't have been Hashirama bowing to everyone else. The other four Kage would have been bowing to him.
Hashirama was also the best person to approach first.
If it had been Madara, he'd probably have activated Susanoo in an instant and taken a swing first when confronted by a dangerous stranger whose origins were unknown.
Anyone who could withstand a single Susanoo slash would earn the right to negotiate with him.
"Elder Brother? What's going on?"
Tobirama appeared in a flash. The moment he saw Natsu Yuu, his expression changed, and he immediately drew his sword.
"Who are you?"
"Tobirama, stop!"
"Elder Brother!"
Hashirama shouted, radiating authority. "Clear the room. I'm going to have a chat with this gentleman. Guard the door!"
Tobirama pouted and complied, not daring to argue with his elder brother when he was serious.
