Dimon was utterly bewildered.
His memories were still stuck on the moment before, when that bastard Code had ambushed him and threatened him with his sister Ada, then locked him inside some strange alternate dimension.
Now he had only just been let out, and he hadn't even had time to take revenge on Code.
Instead, he'd run straight into Sasuke's Indra's Arrow.
He didn't even know where he was or what had happened.
He didn't know anything.
Faced with an attack powerful enough to threaten his life, Dimon was in a panic.
He hadn't touched anyone else, so he couldn't activate his strongest shinjutsu, [Reflection]. There wasn't enough time to dodge or escape, either, so he could only take the blow head-on.
He took the fatal attack meant for Isshiki.
"Boom—!"
The dazzling light of the explosion swallowed everything once again!
This Indra's Arrow was indeed a little weaker than the last one. No matter how powerful Sasuke was, he couldn't fire every shot at full strength. That was obviously unrealistic.
At the same time,
Sasuke sensed that Isshiki seemed to have thrown something out to block the attack just before he was hit.
But Sasuke didn't care. If the other side had a weapon or tool that could perfectly block Indra's Arrow, he would have used it last time. Why wait until he was on the verge of death?
There was one possibility, though.
Unless it was something even Isshiki couldn't fully control—something that might even threaten him!
"AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!"
Amid the dazzling explosion, Sasuke heard a string of agonized screams!
They sounded like a little porcupine thrown into boiling water, struggling and shrieking in desperation.
But the voice clearly didn't belong to Ōtsutsuki Isshiki. His voice wasn't so young. Or rather, as someone gravely wounded and on the verge
