Tobirama stepped forward twice, coming to a stop beside Danzo's body.
At last, Chiyo, who had been silent all this time, raised her head and looked at Tobirama with tear-streaked cheeks.
"Second Hokage-sama..."
Chiyo choked up, wanting to say something, but her heart ached so much that she couldn't get the words out.
"I was the one who sent Danzo to infiltrate Sunagakure."
Tobirama went straight for the big reveal, exposing Danzo's identity as a spy right away. Chiyo had probably already figured it out, but even so, it ought to come as something of a shock.

How could Chiyo bring herself to blame him?
No matter how much he'd concealed from her, it couldn't outweigh the sacrifice he'd made to save her life!
Seeing the despair on Chiyo's face, as if she had lost all desire for anything in this world, Tobirama found himself in an increasingly difficult position. He could only continue:
"Next, I intend to unify the entire Ninja World."
"As for Sunagakure..."
Tobirama got straight to the point. He really wasn't very good at comforting people, so he could only bring up the most fundamental threat—the village's survival—in hopes of reviving Chiyo's spirits.
"Second Hokage-sama, do as you please."
"It's not as if I could stop you anyway, is it?"
Chiyo shook her head listlessly. She had neither the will nor the energy to resist.
She looked utterly defeated, ready to lie back and let anyone do
