The start of term arrived quickly.

When Jon left the estate, his maternal grandmother still had not gone to meet the Queen.

This involved some rather serious matters.

After all, Carolina held no position now. She had stepped down from the Ministry of Magic and possessed no corresponding real authority, only a title—and not a particularly high one at that.

To meet the Queen, she had to follow traditional protocol. Although her influence had sped up the process, they still had to wait.

After all, from a Muggle perspective, seeking an audience with the Queen was practically impossible. From a wizarding perspective, it was a meeting between a vassal and a ruler. No matter what, the Royal family still held a traditional position among wizards. They did not involve themselves much in affairs, but those Pureblood Families had no way of bypassing the Royal family.

They were like those families that had faded from history. Their names might not be widely known, but whenever something truly involving shared interests arose, no one could ignore them.

After all, the main battleground of the entire Western magical world was Europe, and Europe was only so large.

Still, there was no need to worry about this matter. Mrs. Yang had indeed received a reply from the Royal family. Since the Queen had agreed, the matter was settled. It was only a question of time.

So Jon was not worried about it at all. When it was time to leave, he returned to Hogwarts.

Naturally, his current identity meant he could not appear at the feast, but the Hufflepuffs clearly had no concept of his presence.

Besides, apart from Dumbledore and Snape, no one seemed capable of seeing through his invisibility magic.
