Sirius's Blind Date

Umbridge had indeed caused a tremendous stir at the school, just as Jon and Dumbledore had predicted. Aside from the pure-blood students of Slytherin, whom she did not dare provoke, students from every other house had been thoroughly harassed by the female official from the Ministry of Magic.

The students were miserable, and the teachers were no better off. Take Professor McGonagall, Gryffindor's head of house. Though she disliked Umbridge as well, she had to abide by the rules and could not confront her directly as Harry did by shouting at her.

And Harry's shouting was not a particularly good choice either. At least, after his reckless behavior, Umbridge gave him detention.

When Jon learned of this, he sincerely praised Harry's courage. After all, shouting at Umbridge was not something courage alone could accomplish. One also needed extraordinary endurance to tolerate that old witch's shrill voice.

Jon had endured many environments that others could not bear, but Umbridge truly was an exception.

"I have a feeling things won't be peaceful for a while. At least until our Defense Against the Dark Arts professor leaves, we won't be able to return to the stability we once had."

"At a time like this, where would any peaceful stability come from?

Voldemort has already returned. Right now, he is still gathering strength, so there is no need to worry too much. But once he truly emerges, how are we supposed to deal with him?

Since that's the case, having someone like her at school to stir up the students' sense of unity isn't entirely a bad thing.

Ever since Professor Umbridge arrived, even the Slytherin students haven't been the same as before."

"That is true. Apart from a few exceptions, hardly any of the rest like our new professor."

"Everyone
