Finding Hermione had actually been a bit of a risk.

But Jon needed an assistant. Aside from people like Stephen, who could help record and provide protection, he also needed someone to stay by Harry's side long-term, to guide The Savior properly toward the path he was meant to take.

Ron was unreliable.

He needed someone meticulous, someone who could remain calm under any circumstances.

Under these circumstances, no one was more suitable than Miss Granger. She had outstanding grades and considerable ability, but even more valuable was her sufficiently calm heart.

Even at the moment an inexplicable voice rang out behind her, the girl did not panic excessively. Instead, she calmly turned around.

Her hand clenched tightly around her wand.

At Hogwarts, something so frightening should not originally have happened. Yet as time gradually passed, strange and bizarre incidents within the school had become far from rare.

This school appeared heavily guarded, but dangerous figures had appeared several times in recent years. Whether Voldemort or Peter Pettigrew, plenty of danger had already occurred here, and with it came many problems. Naturally, someone inexplicably appearing behind you like this was terrifying.

Jon snapped his fingers beside Hermione's ear, and an illusory environment suddenly distorted into being around them.

—An outdoor designated area belonging to Gryffindor. In recent years, however, Professor Dumbledore had deliberately withdrawn these designated areas from use, and students without corresponding research projects no longer knew about them.

Only students who received special attention from professors could learn how to open such places, along with people like Jon, who had basically mastered every secret of the entire school.

And in recent years, no one in Gryffindor had received Dumbledore's attention. All of Dumbledore's energy
