The time the two of them could spend meeting was limited. Even with the support of Magic Net nodes and the Azure Deep Sea, maintaining a conversation in this state for long was no easy task, so they had to make the most of their time and discuss serious matters.
As for all that pointless bickering, once things here were over, Jon could naturally go to China and talk it over with her at leisure.

"So-so. It's very troublesome to promote this kind of theory. Right now, all I can do is bring it up on a small scale when discussing things with the senior members of the family. If I can spark even a little interest from them, that counts as success. The older generation has its own social circles, after all. The theories proposed by juniors often don't seem useful to them. But it's not as though I haven't figured out the situation here. As far as I can tell, the current learning environment is pretty good. They aren't stubbornly clinging to the outdated ways of the past—after all, things have already reached this point. If they had kept limiting themselves, they wouldn't have survived until now.
