Power and Race, Which Would You Choose?

Everyone was curious about the question of origins.

Even an ordinary person with nothing to do with the magical world would want to know where they had come from.

If one resorted to simple sophistry, the answer to that question was naturally one's parents. But that easily led to another question: where had their parents come from?

Tracing one's origins was not as direct as tracing one's bloodline back to its essence, because for a Legendary Wizard, returning a bloodline to its essence was quite easy. After all, after so much time had passed, no one knew what kind of beings their ancestors had truly been.

And honestly, the nature of the entire world was not that difficult to understand.

Especially when records existed.

"According to what Sally found in China, the main break in the ages occurred during the Qin Dynasty. Most records were erased, and only a small portion remained through the inheritance of Noble Families."

Jon spoke slowly. "And everything that has been passed down basically points in certain directions, such as the existence of races... But it seems that in China's ancient texts, the concept of the Human Race exists only within China."

"That's perfectly normal. Whether in China or here, it's all more or less the same. If there were ancient texts here as well, the concept of the Human Race would certainly be limited to this place."

That was merely the identity of most races. If one truly insisted on purity, then there was not a single genuinely pure race in this world.

Or rather, as long as they were humanoid, not one race was pure.
