"Long time no see, Jon. Do you miss me like you used to?"
In his dream, the voice by his ear was clear and warm.
One of Jon's hands was extended before him, holding a cup of coffee. Evidently, he was sitting in a café.
The person before him had a face he knew well, one he had seen many times in his memories.
His memories seemed to have gone slightly astray. This scene was especially clear, and most importantly, he was now in a dream.
"Yes. I've been looking for you. Where are you?"
The words slipped out of his mouth. That sense of closeness seemed to spread from the depths of his heart through his entire body, leaving him completely unguarded toward the person before him.
More than that, he seemed to have an instinctive willingness to obey.
"You can't find me yet because your memories haven't fully awakened. But we still have a little time. The stronger you become, the more memories you'll recover. When the time comes, we'll meet. Don't be anxious."
"I've already done so much in this world. Isn't my strength enough?
Or do you need me to become a god before I can see you?
Are you a god who exists in this world?"
"Perhaps you could use a less insulting term to describe me. Still, your guess is indeed rather close.
There's no point in telling you these things now. Once you wake up, you won't remember asking me these questions here.
Once you've grown strong enough, every question will be answered. You'll also learn why you appeared in this world.

"I don't need answers. You seem to have gotten something wrong—I've never been someone who needs answers. I often do things based on my instincts.
