Hermione knew Harry had left.

She had always been a light sleeper, especially lately. The slightest disturbance woke her.

Today was no different.

Harry was too reckless. Even after such a major problem had just arisen, he had still chosen to go into the forest alone.

He was enough to worry anyone sick.

The wind was cold.

Pulling on another layer, Hermione emerged from the tent with one hand clutching her collar. The moment she stepped outside, she saw Snape standing there.

"Good evening, Professor Snape. I assume you didn't suddenly come here to take us back."

Snape stood hidden in the shadows, watching Hermione in silence.

There was no light between them, so Hermione raised her hand, and a ball of light bloomed in the darkness between them.

Even though she had given her wand to Harry, she still had ways to defend herself. As Jon's student, how could she possibly not know wandless magic?

Even Grindelwald had praised Hermione's talent. If they were speaking purely of magical talent, she was even somewhat stronger than Jon.

"I came to deliver something."

"I guessed as much. So, have you delivered it?"

"He went to get it."

"Did anyone follow you here?"

"I think you should show me a little more respect," Snape said in a low voice. "This is not how a good student treats her professor."

"Am I still a student now?"

"Miss Granger... you truly are quite impressive. It seems Jon really does have a good student."

Snape sneered. "But you needn't worry about tonight's matter. I brought Ron back to you as well. The Put-Outer Dumbledore left him is quite useful. Let him explain the details to you. Jon asked me to see you and have you prepare in advance. I still need to meet Molly. Where
