Zhou Huan chooses Shrek for its security and educational resources, then enters its dormitory system alongside Huo Yuhao. 2

Wang Yan believes Zhou Huan’s thesis disputing the Master’s statement will not be widely circulated because doing so would embarrass Shrek. 28

Continental Soul Master Tournament

Defense of Shrek City

When Zhou Huan warns of an imminent beast tide, Shrek City prepares for war. Xuanzi leads the defense alongside the city’s forces and the Tang Sect’s artillery platforms. 196

During Di Tian’s assault, Xuanzi confronts him despite being outmatched. Mu En’s spirit merges with Xuanzi to form a true Taotie Martial Soul, while Zhou Huan and Zhang Lexuan enter the battle with their fused Martial Souls. 197

Conflict with Tang San

After Zhou Huan is attacked by Tang San, Shrek’s elders face a conflict between the academy’s traditional reverence for Tang San and loyalty to a member who contributed to Shrek. 244

Mu En ultimately declares that Shrek rejects Tang San’s actions: Tang San’s historical achievements do not compel the academy to accept his present wrongdoing. Shrek remains unable to directly oppose a deity by force, but formally takes Zhou Huan’s side. 286
