As he comprehended the Fruit of All Causes expounded by Daoist Shangqing Tongtian, Lu Yuan also pondered the Cause of All Fruits taught by Yuanshi Daoist, carefully weighing their similarities and differences.
The Cause of All Fruits was the origin of creation—the Limitless giving birth to Taiji—while the Fruit of All Causes was the origin of endings, representing all things bearing yin and returning to the ruins!
One was a "cause" that could negate an enemy's existence at its root; the other was a "fruit" that could directly anchor the endpoint of victory.
Another hundred years passed. The Dao voice of the Grand Pure Daoist rang out, and the Great Dao's aphorisms entered Lu Yuan's ears. Between the Cause of All Fruits and the Fruit of All Causes, he saw the general outline of the Dao stretching across all things, anchored in the present—the foundation for existence.
A flash of insight struck Lu Yuan's mind, and a line from the Dao De Jing of his previous life surfaced: "All things bear yin and embrace yang; through the blending of qi, they achieve harmony."
As the Great Daos expounded by the Sanqing Daoists emerged one by one in his mind, Lu Yuan fell into Dao Comprehension. Within the Auspicious Cloud Dao Fruit above his head, that wisp of an illusory River of Karma gradually transformed into a real Dao manifestation, while the tributaries within that River of Karma increased with every passing moment.
Naturally, the Sanqing Daoists were Quasi-Saint Heavenly Venerates who had set foot upon the path of transcendence, and their preaching possessed inconceivable power. Lu Yuan saw "Profound Yellow karma," Immortal Elder Nanji saw "longevity," Saint Mother Jin Ling saw "stars," and Daoist Duobao saw "the spiritual nature of all things."
Each of them comprehended the Great Dao Rules
