Ye Xuan explained its mysteries to Houtu. "We begin by opening the Wheel Sea within the human body, nurturing deities in the Dao Palace, using the Four Extremes to support the heavens, and undergoing Dragon Transformation to reach the netherworld. Finally, we ascend to the Immortal Platform. We build a complete cycle within our own bodies. We need not rely excessively on the spiritual energy of the world beyond us. Instead, we temper our minds amid the myriad aspects of mortal life. In the end, we transcend the constraints of the external world and become masters of ourselves."
Houtu listened intently.
The Wu Clan had always relied on Pangu's bloodline and rarely considered paths beyond their own.
Ye Xuan's words opened a whole new door for her.
Houtu exclaimed in wonder, "Human Emperor, your knowledge is truly vast. The idea of turning oneself into a universe is novel and points straight to the Great Dao. Ye Xuan smiled. "You flatter me, fellow Daoist. All paths share the same origin. The Wu Clan's path of Body Becomes Saint is also a road that leads straight to the heavens."
