Background

Tang Sect was established in Heaven Dou City approximately twenty thousand years earlier by Ancestor Tang San and the Seven Monsters. Ten thousand years later, it was restored to prosperity by Spirit Ice Douluo's generation of Seven Monsters; Beibei led that generation, while Tang Ya served as sect master. 51 132

The sect's heritage includes the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Eyes, a treasured land associated with Tang San's ascension and later opportunities for generations of Tang Sect powerhouses. Heaven Dou City Explosion

Tang Sect's research institute suffered a catastrophic failure involving the Single-Unit Positive-Cycle Array. The destruction spread through nearby armories, materials storage, and Soul Guidance shell reserves, collapsing much of the underground headquarters. 123

The disaster exposed the scale of Tang Sect's underground operations and caused losses exceeding one hundred thousand people underground. The sect's own fortress-like defenses, designed to endure a Level 12 God-Slaying Shell, also trapped personnel inside affected structures. 123 125
