Seeing Hua Min'er's mysterious smile and recalling what she had said earlier, Ling Tian guessed that the children in her womb were a boy and a girl. He was so excited that, if Yao Yu and Lian Yue hadn't been there, he might have been unable to resist pulling Hua Min'er into his arms.
"That's right, one boy and one girl. It seems Heaven really does favor me." Hua Min'er smiled softly, her face full of happiness.
Now that it was confirmed, Ling Tian and the others were even more excited. Lian Yue couldn't help touching Hua Min'er's belly, her eyes filled with envy. Clearly, she wanted to have Ling Tian's child, too.
"All right, Yue'er, don't be envious. Sooner or later, we'll have children, too," Yao Yu said. She wasn't sure whether she was comforting Lian Yue or herself. Then she raised an eyebrow and looked at Ling Tian. "Ling Tian, you must be thrilled now. Come on, think of names for the children."
"Names? Isn't it a little early for that? We don't even know when they'll be born." Although he said this, Ling Tian began to ponder. After a while, however, he was stumped and couldn't help smiling wryly. "Now I finally understand my father's predicament. I never realized naming children could be so difficult."
"What's so difficult about it? You came up with Lin Er's name, didn't you?" Yao Yu said, exasperated.
"Not exactly. His parents chose Lin Er's name. I only changed his surname," Ling Tian explained. After a moment's thought, he continued, "Come to think of it, I haven't named anyone in ages. Even Little White got his name from Min'er."
"That's true. Well, think it over carefully. There's still some time before these two little ones are born." Yao Yu nodded, then blinked
