After seeing the jade wall bearing Fleeting Light and Shadow, Ling Tian was shaken by the peerless movement technique displayed upon it. He was also excited, and grew even more curious about the jade walls at the other two locations.
Then Old Man Ling and the others led Ling Tian away.
Soon, Ling Tian arrived in front of another jade wall. It stood on a cliff, exactly like the first one, though the images within it were different. Rather than watch the images first, Ling Tian looked at the four seal-script characters in the corner: Electric Serpent Movement.
"Electric Serpent Movement. Just hearing the name, this technique sounds excellent." Ling Tian murmured to himself, then shifted his gaze to the images.
The figure was once again dressed in white, but this time the jade wall was filled with countless specks of light, densely packed together.
The white-clad figure flashed into motion, darting through the specks like a bolt of lightning. He moved with incredible speed, winding like a serpent of thunder, and most importantly, he never touched a single speck.
When the demonstration ended, Ling Tian gaped in astonishment. He knew just how extraordinary a movement technique it was to weave at such speed through a dense field of lights without touching any of them.
"Ling Tian, this movement technique is much more profound than Fleeting Light and Shadow," Fairy Meng Shang said, her voice brimming with excitement. "If we can grasp it, then in a group battle, we'll be like fish in water, coming and going as we please."
"Not only that. Once we grasp this technique, we'll be able to retreat safely even if we're surrounded." Ling Tian paused, then recalled, "Fleeting Light and Shadow is suited to one-on-one combat. It works for pursuit as well as evasion.
