After telling Fairy Meng Shang what Po Qiong had guessed, the two of them headed to the second jade wall together and once again memorized the images on it. They also accepted Po Qiong's suggestion and focused on sensing that feeling. Afterward, they moved on to the third jade wall.
Then they returned to the first jade wall and continued comprehending the "Fleeting Light and Shadow" movement technique.
Time drifted by, and in the blink of an eye, several more years passed.
Several years later, Ling Tian and Fairy Meng Shang had made some progress in the laws of movement, though they did not care much about it. Fairy Meng Shang looked at Ling Tian, her voice faintly excited. "Ling Tian, my memory of the images on the other two jade walls has grown a little hazy again, but it's much clearer than it was the first time."
"It seems Po Qiong was right. As our memories deepen, the images on those two walls will become clearer and clearer, and it will take longer for us to forget them." Ling Tian nodded, his excitement showing. "Looks like we should keep refreshing our memories from now on. Maybe that way, we'll eventually remember them completely."
"Remembering them completely is impossible unless you've already comprehended the laws of movement and gained some understanding of the movement technique in those images," Po Qiong said. Then, remembering something, he pressed them, "Hey, do you two still have that feeling for the movement technique? Has it grown hazy?"
After sensing carefully, Ling Tian and Fairy Meng Shang were both thrilled. Fairy Meng Shang said, "No, that feeling is still there. Hee hee, it looks like your guess was right, Po Qiong. We'll have to keep deepening our sense of that movement technique from now on.
