Yao Yu's ability to control the surrounding void surprised Ling Tian. He knew it would be unwise to fight her at close range, so he decisively put some distance between them, then unleashed his Merged Phenomenal Domain, attacking while fending off the Ice Arrows.
Seeing his attacks halted in midair, unable to advance another inch, Ling Tian's eyes lit up. Yao Yu had a strong defense against ranged attacks, too. He wondered whether his Impact Arrows could break through that barrier of void.
Before he could act, Yao Yu made another move. Energy from all around gathered toward her, then, under her control, merged perfectly together. Clear energy rose, turbid energy sank, the sun and moon shone together, and all things came into being. It was the Merged Phenomenal Domain.
"Oh? Sister Yu can control Merged Domain Power, too—and she can even use the Merged Phenomenal Domain!" Ling Tian exclaimed again. Then he noticed that Yao Yu's Phenomenal Domain was a little rough around the edges and smiled. "Looks like Sister Yu just imitated it on the spot. You've got the form, but not the spirit. Still, that's incredible. You only had to look at it once to use it. I remember it took me ages to grasp it well enough to do this."
"Heh-heh, Ling Tian, how's that? Your big sister's amazing, right?" Yao Yu said, brimming with pride. As she spoke, a thought formed in her mind, and volleys of energy arrows materialized in her Merged Phenomenal Domain and shot toward him.
These energy arrows had been formed from the perfect fusion of various attributes, making them far more powerful than ordinary energy arrows.
Ling Tian, however, didn't care about these attacks. With a thought, he raised an earthen wall in front of them.
