After helping Hua Min'er and Lian Yue refine their Lightning Power, Ling Tian went into seclusion once more. This time, he planned to help Sky-Breaking Bow fuse with a strand of Lightning Silkworm Silk. There were quite a few strands of this silk in Thundercloud Gorge, but getting Sky-Breaking Bow to refine and fuse with one was no simple matter, even though it had already refined a great deal of Essence of Thunder.
Ling Tian did have a way, though. First, he had the Lightning Silkworm recognize him as its master and made it his Natal Dan Artifact. Then he used Nine Heavens Profound Blazing Fire and Chaos Qi to temper and soften it. During the process, he also nourished it with the Origin Qi of his Gold Attribute golden core. This allowed the Lightning Silkworm Silk to take on the aura of the Gold Attribute, helping it grow accustomed to that energy in advance.
Things went smoothly from there, and Sky-Breaking Bow began fusing with the Lightning Silkworm Silk. Although the silk had become Ling Tian's Natal Dan Artifact, its Artifact Spirit was very weak, so Sky-Breaking Bow had little trouble refining and fusing with it. The only slow part was fusing with the silk itself; it would likely take a very long time to complete.
Of course, Ling Tian had plenty of time. Feeling Sky-Breaking Bow's aura grow ever more grand and solemn, he was thrilled. He knew that once it finished fusing with the strand of Lightning Silkworm Silk, it would have a great chance of advancing to the level of an Order Divine Artifact.
