The Carefree Sect's Heavenly Peng Extreme Speed was renowned throughout the God Realm, so Fei Peng hadn't wanted to compete in that. But he couldn't sway Ling Tian, and he also wanted to see how fast Ling Tian was, so he agreed.
"Fellow Daoist Ling Tian, how would you like to compete?" Fei Peng asked curiously, looking at him.
After a brief pause, Ling Tian said, "We'll set a time limit of one stick of incense. Whoever flies farther wins. How about it?"
"Simple and clear. Sounds good to me." Fei Peng agreed, then looked toward one of his companions. "Fei Ling, you be our judge. Make sure the people around us don't interfere with the contest."
With so many people watching, they didn't really need a judge. But Fei Peng's last remark served as a useful warning to the crowd.
"Okay," Fei Ling replied, her voice like a nightingale's song.
"Fellow Daoist Fei Peng, I heard you're going to compete with Fellow Daoist Ling Tian. Why not count me in?" A booming voice suddenly rang out. As it did, a burly man pushed through the crowd and strode straight toward Ling Tian and the others.
The newcomer looked to be in his twenties or thirties. He was powerfully built, his upper body bare, his muscles knotted like coiling dragons and his limbs thick with strength. His eyes were round as bells, his face dark purple, and a faint metallic sheen gleamed across his skin, giving him a ferociously intimidating air.
