Seeing the situation on the arena, nearly everyone believed Ling Tian was sure to lose and would be killed next. Chi Xue, however, had noticed something amiss. He believed Ling Tian still had a chance to survive.
"What chance?!" the Jade Devouring Sky Python asked, growing excited.
"You'll see in a moment. I think Ling Tian has already figured it out." Chi Xue kept them in suspense, then chuckled. "In fact, he'd already thought of a solution when he used the Merged Entity Arrow. Everything he did before that was preparation for his escape."
Though quite curious, the Jade Devouring Sky Python knew Chi Xue's nature. It didn't press him further and trusted his judgment, so it relaxed a little and continued watching Po Tian and Ling Tian's battle.
Meanwhile, Fairy Meng Shang was discussing things with Little Shi. "Little Shi, if Ling Tian can't escape, we have to save him, even if it costs us our lives. No matter what it takes."
"I understand," Little Shi said, his expression growing resolute. "At worst, I'll detonate my Small World and take them all down with me. Killing so many of them would make it worth it."
Fairy Meng Shang and Little Shi were clever, too. They knew the Po Family Brothers were ready to intervene. Unless Ling Tian escaped on his own, he was sure to die. They wouldn't stand by and watch him be killed, so they would come to his aid. In that case, they might as well detonate the Small World directly and take some of their enemies with them.
As Fairy Meng Shang and Little Shi made their decision, Ling Tian and Po Tian were still fighting.
Just as Chi Xue had said, Ling Tian had already found a way to escape, so he remained calm.
