During a probing attack on the base at Sunset Canyon, Tan Tai Chang Feng and the others discovered that its defenses were even stronger than they had imagined. But they also noticed something else: powerful defenses meant greater energy consumption, and their attacks were making the base burn through its energy even faster.
The bases in the eastern wilderness of the God Realm had all been destroyed. That meant the Technology Cultivators had been cut off from their supplies of materials and Divine Origin Stones. In other words, if Ling Tian and the others sealed off the base at Sunset Canyon and attacked it, they might be able to drain all the energy inside. After that, things would be simple.
It made sense. The super cannons and enormous Universe Flying Saucers built by the Technology Cultivators might wield powerful attacks, but they needed energy to function. In fact, the stronger the attack, the more energy it consumed. Once that energy ran out, those weapons would be nothing but decorations, no longer capable of threatening Ling Tian and the others in the slightest.
What's more, if the Technology Cultivators' reserves ran dry, the energy shield around the base at Sunset Canyon would become useless. Then Ling Tian and the others could easily storm the base and perhaps even capture every last Technology Cultivator inside.
Before Ling Tian and the others could speak, Tan Tai Chang Feng continued, "Heh, the Technology Cultivators suffered heavy casualties while we were hunting them down.
