Ling Tian and his companions planned to act just as Chi Xue's group was about to reach the eastern region of the God Realm. Once Chi Xue and the others realized Ling Tian's group had been plotting against them, they could return to the central region of the God Realm as quickly as possible. There wouldn't be much time between those two events. That meant Ling Tian and the others wouldn't have much time to raid the sect strongholds, so the number they could destroy would be limited. They might even manage to destroy only one or two.
Destroying just one or two sect strongholds wouldn't have much impact on the overall situation. The Technology Cultivators could still produce a large number of Universe Flying Saucers in a relatively short time. That wasn't what Ling Tian and the others wanted to see. If that really happened, all their earlier plans would have been largely pointless.
The others had thought of that, too, and their expressions turned solemn. They all looked at Ling Tian, wondering whether he had a way to deal with it.
A smile tugged at Ling Tian's lips. As if thinking aloud, he said, "What do you think Chi Xue and the others will do when they see us suddenly bring out a fleet of Universe Flying Saucers and Super Cannons from our stronghold?"
"Isn't that obvious? They'll hesitate for a bit," Fairy Sword Ji blurted out. Then, realizing something, she said, "Ling Tian, do you plan to use the Universe Flying Saucers and Super Cannons to buy us some time? Hey, that's a good idea. At the very least, we can delay them a little longer.
