Although the Ancient Divine Beast had developed some goodwill toward Ling Tian, that didn't mean it completely trusted what he said. Most importantly, it didn't believe that it could escape the Outer Realm Demon Race cultivators' pursuit simply by fleeing to the northern region of the God Realm. It couldn't believe that any force could drive those cultivators back. If there really were hundreds or even thousands of Quasi-Saint Ninth Order experts among them, as Ling Tian claimed, then they formed an incredibly powerful force. In the Ancient Divine Beast's eyes, they were strong enough to sweep through the God Realm. No force in the God Realm could stand against them, let alone stop them from capturing it.
No matter how Ling Tian tried to explain, the Ancient Divine Beast refused to take that particular piece of advice. It did, however, heed another suggestion: the next time a large group of Outer Realm Demon Race cultivators attacked it, it wouldn't charge at them recklessly again. It would flee at once.
