Having dealt with Ling Tian and the others so many times, the Outer Realm Demon Race cultivators knew them very well. They knew that when Ling Tian and the others kept their distance and launched powerful arrow techniques, it would be difficult to do anything to them. Though they could rely on their numbers to form Saber Qi and block Ling Tian and the others' attacks, mistakes were inevitable. And any mistake meant casualties—something they did not want to see.
The Outer Realm Demon Race cultivators could certainly deploy their super-large Universe Flying Saucers and the accompanying flying saucers, easily driving Ling Tian and the others out of the eastern region of the God Realm. But that would be pointless. They could only drive them away, not kill them, and would lose some Universe Flying Saucers in the process. That would delay their attack on the Fengyun Realm to some degree, which was even less desirable.
The Outer Realm Demon Race cultivators also knew that if they kept stalling, Ling Tian and the others would break through to the Quasi-Saint Ninth Order, and more and more cultivators in their ranks would reach the peak of the eighth order. By then, destroying the Fengyun Realm and killing Ling Tian and the others would be difficult. So, for now, they needed to avoid taking losses and build as many super-large Universe Flying Saucers as possible before attacking the Fengyun Realm.
And so, the Outer Realm Demon Race cultivators did not engage with Ling Tian and the others. Instead, they withdrew straight to Sunset Canyon and began shooting arrows from within. This would improve their arrow skills to some extent, and, for now, it was the safest course of action. With Ling Tian and the others' strength, they simply could not capture Sunset
