Ling Tian knew the small worlds of the Lingxiao Realm and the Fengyun Realm extremely well. He knew that such semi-independent small worlds contained vast amounts of energy. One glimpse of that was enough: Little Shi had spent tens of thousands, even over a hundred thousand years, devouring one, and had still only consumed a small portion. Filling this space with energy would therefore require very little Origin Power, so Ling Tian agreed to Little Shi's suggestion.
As Ling Tian had said, as long as the space was filled with energy—not even much of it, just half of what it had contained before—he could influence and control the space, then draw on some of its Origin Power to suppress Chi Xue and the others. That would make defeating them much easier.
Hearing Ling Tian agree, Little Shi said no more and immediately released the Lingxiao Realm's Origin Power that he had yet to refine. This made the energy in the space even more abundant. At the very least, Ling Tian and the others were releasing energy almost as quickly as Chi Xue's group was devouring it. On top of that, the space could absorb energy from the outside on its own. So even if the energy here was thinner than before, it was not much thinner.
Since Ling Tian and the others could release energy and keep the space supplied with it, they had no need to seek out Chi Xue's group. It was better to keep delaying them. The longer they stalled, the more influence and control Ling Tian would gain over the space, and the more energy he could draw on. That would make his suppression of Chi Xue and the others all the more effective.
