After a brief pause, he continued, "Perhaps he thinks Ling Tian has already been reborn through nirvana, so giving him a whole Phoenix Soul Fruit would be pointless. After all, Ling Tian can't use one to undergo nirvana and be reborn a second time."
"If that's the case, he could simply have given Ling Tian nothing. Why give him half a fruit?" Chi Xue asked again.
