Based on what Ling Tian knew of Po Qiong, he wouldn't urge them to leave the place where the Lord of the Universe was so quickly for no reason—especially when they hadn't sensed any danger. There was only one possibility: Po Qiong had something to tell them, something he couldn't let the Lord of the Universe know.
It made sense. Po Qiong's spiritual perception was powerful, but not much stronger than Ling Tian's at present. Since Ling Tian hadn't sensed any powerful cultivators approaching, Po Qiong most likely hadn't either. So his urging Ling Tian and Xiao Shi to leave quickly wasn't because they were in danger. He wanted them to get out of the Lord of the Universe's "earshot" as soon as possible. In that case, he must have something to tell them.
"Po Qiong has something to tell us?" Xiao Shi was briefly taken aback, then quickly understood. "That's right, that's right. There aren't any powerful cultivators approaching, so there's no danger. And yet Po Qiong is urging us to leave quickly. He must have something to tell us that the Lord of the Universe can't know."
"Mm, exactly," Po Qiong replied. Sensing Ling Tian and Xiao Shi's curiosity, he didn't come straight out with it. Instead, he asked, "Ling Tian, you weren't in the Lord of the Universe's Small World earlier. How strong did he seem to you then?"
It made sense. From what Ling Tian and the others knew, a cultivator's apparent strength could differ greatly depending on whether they were sensed from within that cultivator's Small World or from outside it. They wouldn't have been too concerned if it were anyone else, but this was the Lord of the Universe. It mattered because it would determine whether Ling Tian and the others could ever stand
