From what the Heavenly Treasure hiding in Thunder Purgatory had said, it knew the Lord of the Universe. The only question was whether they were on good or bad terms, and that would largely determine whether it chose to follow Ling Tian. At the thought, Little Devourer and the others grew conflicted, but Ling Tian quickly made his decision and answered truthfully.
Next, the Saint-grade Heavenly Treasures who knew Ling Tian's past, including the Enlightenment Sacred Tree, began speaking with the Heavenly Treasure. They told it the truth about Ling Tian's relationship with the Lord of the Universe. After that came a long silence, making Little Devourer and the others anxious.
"Brother Tian, an hour has passed, and that Heavenly Treasure still hasn't contacted us. Could it really be on good terms with the Lord of the Universe? If it's figured out that we'll oppose him in the future, then..." Little Devourer murmured, suddenly tense.
It was no wonder. By now, Ling Tian and the others had nearly confirmed that it was a Saint-grade Heavenly Treasure—and the only one of its kind in the entire Outer Realm star domain. If it decided not to follow them, then getting it would be no easy task. At the very least, they would waste a great deal of time.
"That's not the only problem. I suspect something even more troublesome is coming." Dan Bi's voice sounded in Ling Tian and the others' minds. "Don't forget, this Heavenly Treasure can command all the Lightning Power in Thunder Purgatory. If the matter with the Lord of the Universe makes it hostile toward you, and it attacks by controlling that Lightning Power, you'll be in danger."
"Exactly. You have a powerful formation protecting you, and you're also shielded by the Ultimate Lightning Tribulation Power, but don't
