Though it excelled most at combat, it wouldn't be lacking in other areas, either. At the very least, it could tell whether the Sacred Ruins Abyss held the Saint-grade Heavenly Treasures Ling Tian and the others needed.
After receiving a negative answer, Ling Tian and the others couldn't help feeling disappointed. But they soon came around, because Ling Tian believed that even if the Sacred Ruins Abyss did contain the Saint-grade Heavenly Treasures they needed, it would be difficult for both kinds to be there. And so long as they couldn't find both, they would still have to face the Demon Slayer Alliance's cultivators. In that case, finding just one wouldn't make much difference to them. After all, if they could deal with the Demon Slayer Alliance, they would be able to claim both Saint-grade Heavenly Treasures for themselves.
Thinking this over, Ling Tian and the others stopped dwelling on it. They especially considered that they might gain other benefits in the Sacred Ruins Abyss: for example, the World-Ending Thunder Dragon could recover its condition after refining powerful Lightning Power, and Ling Tian and the others might find Origin Power left behind after a Saint's death. Obtaining and refining that power could greatly increase their strength, and might even give them a chance to break through to the Saint level.
In short, Ling Tian and the others were sure to gain many benefits by entering the Sacred Ruins Abyss. Those gains could more than make up for their inability to find the two Saint-grade Heavenly Treasures they needed there.
