The Extreme Ice Plains were brimming with Ice Sha Power, pure and immensely abundant. They also contained no small amount of Space Law Power and Law of Time, with the latter especially important to the Eastern Emperor Bell. It had previously refined the Heavenly Volcano and Thunder Purgatory, accumulating too much Space Law Power. It now needed to absorb more Law of Time to fuse with it and form Space-Time Power, which would strengthen the Eastern Emperor Bell's inner space.
Although the Extreme Ice Plains still contained less Law of Time than Space Law Power, they had far more of it than the Heavenly Volcano and Thunder Purgatory. Once the Eastern Emperor Bell finished refining the plains, its inner space would surely grow by twenty or thirty percent—a tremendous improvement. It would then be able to contain much more Origin Power, and the pressure of its space would grow stronger, tempering Ling Tian and the others more effectively.
It was worth noting that the excess Ice Sha Power went to Ling Tian and the others, the cultivators who could control it. Stockpiling large amounts would benefit their strength to some extent; at the very least, it would allow the Ice Cicada Flower to draw on more Ice Sha Power in the future, giving it a better chance of causing the Lord of the Universe some trouble when facing his true body.
And so, while helping the Eastern Emperor Bell refine the Extreme Ice Plains, Ling Tian and the others continued cultivating, their strength steadily growing with the passage of time.
