If nothing unexpected happened, the Lord of the Universe could keep creating Nine Nether Nether Soldiers without end. The only way to stop their Life Seeds from returning to Guixu and being reused by him was to capture the soldiers without killing them. But that would be extremely difficult, especially once they began appearing in great numbers. The Nine Nether Nether Soldiers were weaker than Chi Xue and the others, but not by much. Chi Xue's group might easily kill them with an Arrow Formation and powerful arrow techniques, but capturing them would be far harder—particularly since they had little time. As things stood, they had at most four or five thousand years.
In that span, Chi Xue and the others were certain to capture only a small number of Nine Nether Nether Soldiers. At the very least, it would be a drop in the bucket compared with the many the Lord of the Universe could create. That meant countless soldiers would still be around when the Lord of the Universe and Ling Tian finally went to war. Chi Xue's group would have to spend a great deal of time dealing with them, leaving them little strength to attack the Lord of the Universe's true body and ease the pressure on Ling Tian.
What was more, they could not count on having all four or five thousand years. No one knew when the Lord of the Universe might tear up their agreement and attack Ling Tian. In other words, the time Chi Xue and the others had to prepare could be even shorter.
But Ling Tian's Clone gave them hope. He said plainly that once the Lord of the Universe and Ling Tian's true body were at war, Chi Xue and the others would no longer need to hold back.
