After hearing Ling Tian's Clone say that the crows couldn't threaten them, Shi Lin and the others found it hard to believe. After all, in their minds, crows that could withstand attacks from the starfield cultivators without a single one being killed had to be powerful. They had to be able to cause them some trouble, perhaps even a great deal of it.
Still, they knew that Ling Tian's Clone had made a lot of sense. They also knew that if the Lord of the Universe had sent the crows to join forces with the Nine Nether Nether Soldiers and Demon Soldiers earlier, they would certainly have posed a tremendous threat, and might even have inflicted casualties. That was exactly what the Lord of the Universe dreamed of.
Yet the Lord of the Universe hadn't done so, which left everyone puzzled.
"The crows haven't made a move against the starfield cultivators this whole time. That's very strange." As Ling Tian's Clone spoke, he looked around at them. "If those crows are powerful—for example, if they're at the peak of the Thirty-fifth Heaven of Near-Saint, as we've guessed—then a casual attack would be enough to inflict casualties on the starfield cultivators blocking their way. Once the crows' strength was revealed, the starfield cultivators would naturally stop trying to intercept them, and the crows could reach us much faster."
At that, everyone fell silent. In their minds, if they were those crows, and could easily kill the starfield cultivators, they wouldn't let themselves be attacked without striking back. At the very least, they'd reveal their powerful auras to intimidate their attackers. That would be a great help with what they planned to do next.
