Choosing a Base

Ling Tian and the others entered the Land of Chaos and began discussing where to go next. The Mysterious Spirit Bee Race was deeply entangled in the matter, and many people coveted them, so they had to be especially careful when choosing a base.

Although the sole passage through the Natural Barrier had been frozen over, Ling Tian knew it would eventually be opened. The great Demon Race clans would very likely continue sending experts to track them down.

For all these reasons, Ling Tian was extremely cautious about choosing a base.

"The Mysterious Spirit Bee Race is rather special. We need to think this through carefully. The planet we choose must have plenty of Heavenly Treasures, since those are the food they rely on to survive." Ling Tian mused, then nodded gratefully at Xuan Ning. He smiled faintly and continued, "We also have to worry about Shi Ao and the others chasing us. So the place we choose has to meet a few requirements."

"Mm, that's true." Lu Yuan nodded. "First, we have to make sure outsiders can't discover the base. Otherwise, the Demon Race or some other race might find out the Mysterious Spirit Bees are there, and then we'll be in danger."

"We also need to consider whether the base has plenty of flowers and Heavenly Treasures." Hu Yao chimed in, her fox eyes blinking as she pondered. "Also, for our forces to keep growing, the planet can't be lacking in spiritual energy. And the barren stars nearby should have spirit stone deposits or the like."

If spiritual energy was scarce, it would be difficult for everyone to improve their cultivation. Naturally, they needed a planet with relatively abundant spiritual energy. Spirit stones were even more fundamental to a major force. Cultivators needed them to practice, heal,
