No one objected to Ling Tian's suggestion that they celebrate. Hu Yao, Fairy Tian Xin, and the other women sprang into action, and everyone else followed suit. Hundreds, even a thousand people, set to work together, bringing out their treasured stores accumulated over the years: fine wines, spirit fruits, delicacies from the mountains and the sea. Rare dishes appeared one after another, a dazzling spread that left everyone's eyes reeling.

Once everyone learned of Ling Tian's remarkable grilling skills, the task of grilling meat and fish fell to him. He set up a flame array with spirit stones to keep the fire burning, then set to work with both his original body and his clone. It was all familiar work, and soon the rich aroma of meat drifted through the air, so mouthwatering that it made everyone's fingers itch to reach for a bite.
After receiving a hundred jars of Monkey Brew, Zun Jiu was in high spirits. When he saw Ling Tian grilling, he eagerly studied his technique, planning to use it to tempt Little Devourer later. He asked questions from time to time, and Ling Tian answered each one.
As Ling Tian was grilling fish, a streak of black flashed past. The grilled meat in his hand vanished. Looking toward where the streak had gone, he saw Little Devourer holding the meat and eating with gusto. He gave a series of muffled cries as he ate, a look of bliss on his face. When he noticed Ling Tian watching him, he pointed at Little Right, as if to say that the meat was repayment for what Ling Tian owed him.
