Ling Tian had made a ten-year pact with Tian Xin. He had spent half a year cultivating his Water Attribute clone, and another year and two months refining his solid arrows. Nearly two years of their ten-year deadline had already passed, leaving him only eight. Yet he still had many archery techniques to learn. The Spiral Arrow Technique seemed harder than the others, and Ling Tian worried he might run out of time.
Although refining his archery techniques had improved his Mental Cultivation, his cultivation at his heart was still only at the early Spirit Division Stage, with little improvement. He had no confidence in facing Tian Xin, whose strength was unfathomable. He hoped to leave himself some time to improve his cultivation, ideally breaking through to the Late Spirit Division Stage. Only then would he have some confidence in a fight against Tian Xin.
Two-tenths of the ten years had passed. There were still many archery techniques to refine and learn, and Ling Tian worried he might run out of time.
Sky-Breaking Bow knew what Ling Tian was worried about, but he wasn't concerned at all. He explained why: Ling Tian's recent work on solidifying Spiritual Energy Arrows was foundational. While practicing, he had also learned the Chain Arrow. The Spinning Arrow and Spiral Arc Arrow he would practice next would also be quite helpful when he learned the Spiral Arrow Technique.
After thinking it over, Ling Tian felt reassured. It seems Sky-Breaking Bow didn't teach me these little tricks merely to point out the flaws in my archery. He also took into account what I'll need when I learn the Spiral Arrow Technique. I can focus on refining the other techniques now. This place doesn't seem suited to practicing them, so I'd better head to Purple Pine Forest.
