Although Professor Green was somewhat surprised, he did not refuse Linley's request.

As early as a year ago, when he had gone to teach at Hogwarts, Dumbledore had hinted during a conversation with Professor Green that Voldemort might not truly be dead. Therefore, Professor Green considered the British wizarding world extremely dangerous. For the sake of his disciple's safety, there was absolutely nothing excessive about equipping him with an even more powerful weapon.

"How about a Desert Eagle?" Professor Green asked.

Since Linley had mentioned wanting a handgun, he presumably knew something about firearms. Thus, Professor Green did not give too much introduction and instead asked directly.

As a semi-automatic pistol that used large-caliber bullets, the Desert Eagle was too heavy and had excessive recoil for ordinary adults. This made it impossible for most adults to use it as a weapon, which was also why the Desert Eagle had never been widely adopted by the military.

However, as both a wizard and an alchemist, Linley could not only use magic to enhance his own strength, but also use Spell Alchemy to forge equipment that enhanced his strength. He could even use Formation Alchemy to enchant the Desert Eagle, reducing its weight and recoil.

Therefore, in Professor Green's view, if he had to choose the handgun best suited for Linley, the Desert Eagle was undoubtedly an exceptionally fitting choice.

Linley nodded happily, expressing how much he looked forward to receiving the weapon.

Professor Green patted Linley's head and said, "No problem. Go buy your textbooks first. I'll send your gift to Rohl Manor by owl before school starts."

After deciding on Linley's gift, Professor Green waved his Wand and Apparated away from The Leaky Cauldron.

Linley, meanwhile, entered The Leaky Cauldron, intending to reach Diagon Alley through the entrance in the backyard.

Old Tom, the owner of The Leaky Cauldron, was still standing behind the bar. After greeting him, Linley headed toward the backyard.

Yet Old Tom unexpectedly followed him.

When young wizards first came to Diagon Alley, they would receive Old Tom's guidance. After that, they only needed to pass through on their own when they returned; Old Tom would not help them again. The Leaky Cauldron had far too much business, and he could not possibly attend to every young wizard.

Thus, Old Tom's actions puzzled Linley.

When Linley asked about it, Old Tom gave a bitter smile. "Last month, some young wizard—I don't know who—kicked the trash bin while passing through to Diagon Alley and shifted it two bricks over. My backyard was nearly packed full of wizards who couldn't get into Diagon Alley. So lately, I've had to keep watch here myself."

Good grief, anyone got some resin?!

Linley could not help laughing. After nodding to Old Tom, he opened the passage to Diagon Alley and entered it.

The process of buying new textbooks and magical materials went very smoothly. Linley also picked up some materials needed for alchemy. These alchemical materials were not expensive, since they were useless to anyone except alchemists, and England had very few alchemists to begin with.

With supply exceeding demand, they naturally could not command high prices.

Perhaps the prices of these alchemical materials could rise more than tenfold after being exported to the French wizarding world. However, given how conservative the British wizarding world currently was, aside from illegal smugglers who secretly made Cross-border Portkeys, no one would engage in such business.

After purchasing everything, Linley followed the arrangement from the letter he had sent home earlier. In an alley of Diagon Alley, he found Gael, the House-elf who had been waiting for a long time, and returned to Roer Castle through Gael's Apparition.

After returning to Roer Castle, Linley began organizing everything he would need for the new term.

Besides the materials necessary for studying magic and alchemy, Linley needed to prepare more raw materials to refine more Mana Suppression Flame. At present, Mana Suppression Flame was his greatest trump card, far surpassing even his ability to cast magic silently and without a Wand.

Thus, when it came to refining Mana Suppression Flame, the more, the better!

The day before he was due to leave for King's Cross Station, the Desert Eagle Professor Green had sent by owl finally arrived at Roer Castle.

After opening the package, Linley found the firearm itself, several replacement parts, and an instruction manual. In addition, Professor Green had also included one hundred bullets as an extra gift.

At the bottom of the package, Linley also found a letter from Professor Green.

In the letter, Professor Green suggested that Linley try enchanting both the Desert Eagle itself and the hundred bullets, allowing them to possess even greater power.

Linley gladly accepted the suggestion and planned to begin experimenting with it on his first night after arriving at Hogwarts Castle.

The first day of school soon arrived. With Gael's help, Linley Apparated to King's Cross Station and passed through the barrier to reach Platform 9¾.

Not long after entering the platform, he saw the Weasley twins pushing their trolleys as they ran through the barrier from the other side.

"Linley!"

Upon seeing Linley, both Fred and George greeted him.

"Linley, we still can't understand some of the Muggle electrical knowledge you sent me over the summer. Are you sure it has anything to do with alchemy?"

George spoke with some frustration.

During the July holiday, Linley had sent them a book containing electrical knowledge he had learned in middle school in his previous life. In Linley's view, studying electricity before Formation Alchemy would yield twice the results with half the effort.

Linley nodded firmly. "Of course! With how impatient you two are, it's no wonder you can't understand it. Go back and study it properly. Once you do understand it, I reckon you'll have stepped through the door to alchemy!"

Fred spread his hands. "We just like having fun—"

"—and can't stand loneliness," George finished.

Suddenly, two more figures came through the barrier.

One of the boys had the same red hair as the Weasley twins, while the other had black hair and wore glasses. Linley could see a lightning-shaped scar on his forehead.

These two must be the Weasley twins' younger brother, Ron Weasley, and Savior Harry Potter.

Just as Linley was about to board the train, he caught sight of another snow-white figure rushing out from the barrier.

It was a very pretty-looking girl with beautiful silver hair.

Silver hair? Could she be a Half-Veela too?!

But where would Hogwarts have a Half-Veela?!

At the sight, Linley could not help stopping, his mind filled with questions.
