Golden Pupil and a Dazzling Array of Spells

Beams of golden light collided and cancelled each other out, seemingly unable to gain the upper hand over one another.

Seeing this, Fred looked at George and spoke softly.

George nodded slightly. He waved his Wand, sketching a brand-new Alchemy Formation in the air. This formation produced thousands upon thousands of golden threads, linking itself to every Alchemy Formation within the alchemical matrix.

Fred pressed his left palm against the new Alchemy Formation. Strands of power that did not belong to this world flowed from his palm and merged into it.

At Nicholas's manor, Fred and George had likewise borrowed Nicholas's star chart, establishing a connection with countless stars. Like Linley, they had used that connection to obtain a strand of Star Origin power.

This allowed Fred and George to continuously unleash the power of the stars and use it in battle.

The purpose of this new Alchemy Formation was to replace energy sources. It replaced the magical power fueling the tens of thousands of Alchemy Formations within the alchemical matrix with stellar power.

Even the more than three thousand Alchemy Formations that automatically drew magical power now drew upon the stellar power within Fred's body instead.

Had Fred not extracted a massive amount of stellar power from the Star Origin beforehand and stored it within the corners of his body, the simultaneous drain of those three thousand-plus Alchemy Formations would have sucked him dry in an instant!

In just a few breaths, the energy source of the enormous alchemical matrix, as well as the Demon King Barrier fused with it, had been replaced with stellar power.

After completing the replacement, Fred and George swung their Wands at the same time, sketching Alchemy Formations at the center of the matrix.
