Use Rage Berserk!!
At Loren's command, all the Barbarians immediately activated the super skill they had just acquired.
The muscular Barbarian Berserkers roared furiously. Their already massive bodies swelled another size, shooting up from 1.9 meters to two meters tall.
Their auras were downright savage.
What a bunch of muscle-bound brutes!
Barbarian Chieftain Yas was even more impressive. After using the B-class skill—Rage Berserk—he shot up from two meters to 2.2 meters tall.
He looked like a little giant, the muscles across his body bulging dramatically.
Terrifying and fearsome.
After going berserk, Yas was like a spring wound to its limit. He thrust both hands outward, flinging away the red-eyed Kobolds who had swarmed over him without the slightest fear of death.
Taking advantage of the brief opening, he snatched the long-handled battle-axe off the ground. As the Kobolds charged him again, he gave a ferocious grin.
His waist twisted sharply like a spinning top, then he whirled with brute force, unleashing an astonishing amount of power.
Splurt~
The force from his waist traveled down his arms and into the long-handled battle-axe. The sharp axe swept around like a whirlwind.
Splurt~
More than a dozen Kobolds around him were cut in half, blood spraying as their severed limbs flew.
The area around him was instantly cleared.
The ungraded armor Yas wore was now covered in claw marks. The armor on his arms and chest had even been torn to shreds.
Broad swaths of scarred muscle were exposed. Warm blood dripped over them, and this bull of a man looked like the God of War himself had descended onto the battlefield.
But the pain coursing through him only made Yas angrier.
How could the great Barbarians be driven to such a state by a pack of filthy Kobolds?!!
They deserved to die!!
In his fury, his strength surged again. With a roar, the bull of a man charged into the Kobold ranks.
This time, he was several times more brutal than before.
Whether they were Kobolds empowered by Bloodthirsty Wonder Technique or ordinary Kobolds, they were all reduced to severed limbs beneath his great axe.
Even when the axe didn't kill them, he smashed them to pieces with his bare hands.
The bloody scene showed just how terrifying a Barbarian Storm Warrior could be.
Yas was powerful, but the other Barbarian Berserkers were no slouches either.
After going berserk, their eyes were bloodshot, and they were even more brutal than the Kobolds empowered by Bloodthirsty Wonder Technique.
Savage and frenzied.
They showed no mercy.
In an instant, the Kobolds began falling like wheat before a scythe.
The Barbarians once again had the upper hand on the battlefield.
Just as the battle grew more intense, angry roars and the thundering blasts of magic suddenly erupted from the bushes behind them.
A moment later, a cool and elegant figure drifted out of the bushes. Her boots landed on several Kobold heads as she dashed into the battlefield.
What drew everyone's attention was the Kobold wearing a black cloak in her grasp.
"The Bloodline Mage has been captured! Everyone, stop resisting!!"
Her icy voice rang across the battlefield. The Kobolds still fighting whipped around to look at their chieftain—Xim Claw.
The captured Kobold Bloodline Mage let out a bloodcurdling howl.
"Let me go!! Let go of the great Chieftain Xim!! Hurry, save me! All of you, save me!!"
The surrounding Kobolds flew into a rage at the sight.
"Damn humans!!"
"You're asking to die!!"
"Kill her!!"
Provoked like this, the Kobolds flew into a frenzy unlike anything they had shown before.
They abandoned their opponents and rushed toward Fiana, determined to rescue their chieftain.
But how could a Platinum-grade powerhouse be stopped by a bunch of Bronze Grade Kobolds?
Clang~
Fiana's longsword flashed like a dragon, its gleaming blade as cold as frost.
Wherever her graceful figure passed, the Kobolds clutched their throats, cried out, and collapsed dead.
The scythe of the Grim Reaper reaped souls in a frenzy.
With overwhelming force, the Platinum-grade powerhouse tore through every obstacle and made her way back through the Kobolds to the caravan.
Then, under everyone's watchful eyes, she tossed the Kobold Bloodline Mage at Loren's feet.
Her voice was cool.
"I've sealed his magic with my power. He won't be able to cast any spells for a while."
Loren didn't even glance at the Bloodline Mage at his feet. Instead, he smiled at Fiana.
"Thanks for your effort."
After speaking, he caught the girl's somewhat uneasy expression, then turned his gaze to the Kobold sprawled on the ground.
The Kobold Bloodline Mage, who had been stabbed several times, was still howling in pain. His heart was filled with hatred.
That damn human noble actually dared to hurt the great Chieftain Xim!!
Unforgivable!!
Loren sensed his hatred and curled his lips into a wild grin.
He walked forward with slightly unsteady steps, snatched the longsword from Fiana's hand, then approached Xim Claw one step at a time without saying a word.
He planted his right boot on the Kobold's wrist and plunged the sword down.
Splurt~ Blood sprayed.
"Ah!!"
With a cry of pain, the blade pierced Xim Claw's hand, pinning him firmly to the ground.
"Now,
I speak, you listen.
One word of nonsense, and I kill you."
Loren's cold words doused Xim Claw's anger like a bucket of ice water. His whole body shuddered, and his back went cold.
This demon!!
Xim Claw lay on the ground, with Loren's boot planted right in front of his eyes.
He struggled to lift his head, trying to see what the man standing on his wrist looked like.
But when he saw those icy eyes, devoid of even the slightest trace of human emotion, an indescribable terror surged from the soles of his feet to his skull.
I'll die.
I'll really die.
He would stake his soul on it: if he talked back, this damn human noble would kill him without hesitation!!
The fear of death swallowed him, instantly bringing him to his senses.
Loren didn't waste a single word on the Kobold. He said flatly,
"Order your men to stop resisting and surrender on their knees."
No!!
How could the great Kobolds surrender!!
He had only just begun to protest when those emotionless eyes fixed on him. The blade piercing his hand was still trembling slightly, and the pain was needling his nerves.
A flicker of struggle crossed his eyes.
Crack~
Just then, the boy, more terrifying than a demon, crushed Xim Claw's wrist beneath his boot. The unbearable pain of the broken bones piercing his flesh drove him to the brink of madness.
Then, in the next instant, the other man gripped the sword's cross-shaped hilt, as if about to pull it out.
Xim Claw trembled in agony. The sight made his heart and gall feel like they were splitting apart.
He's going to pull out the sword and kill me right here.
No, the great Chieftain Xim can't die here.
He still has to build a Kobold nation. He still has to become the great His Majesty Xim. He can't die here. He can't die!!
"I-I'll talk!! I'll tell you everything!! Human noble, don't kill me!!!"
Pain and the threat of death shattered Xim's weak will.
Loren swish~ pulled the sword from the Kobold's hand, then gestured for the Barbarians beside him to lift Xim Claw up.
Xim, his eyes full of fear, was held up by two burly men. He didn't even dare look the demon in front of him in the eye.
Fiana, who had defeated him, had made him furious. But Loren, standing close to him, filled him with utter terror.
It was a fear that came from his very soul. It was as if he were facing an immensely terrifying, evil creature.
"By my authority as chieftain of the Claw Tribe, I order you to stop resisting immediately!!
Everyone in the Claw Tribe, stop resisting at once!!!"
"You damn bastards!! Drop your weapons immediately and retract your claws!!"
As if trying to prove his usefulness to Loren, the frightened Kobold Spellcaster shouted especially loudly.
The Kobolds who were still fighting desperately to rescue their great chieftain were struck as if by a thunderbolt. They stared at Xim in disbelief.
They surrendered? Their chieftain, the agent of the gods, had actually surrendered??!
